Industrial Hygiene Sampling - Silica Dust Sampling
SAS can also conduct airborne dust sampling as required under the provisions of both the Mine Act and 30CFR. The air sampling equipment used are Gilian GIL AIR3 intrinsically safe samplers calibrated to 1.7 lpm using a Gilabrator. The samples are collected on 5um PVC filter cassettes with cyclone separator attachments. The samples are evaluated using gravimetery, NIOSH 6000, X-ray diffraction, and NIOSH 7500 using RJ Lee Group analysis.

SAS can also conduct airborne dust sampling as required under the provisions of both the Mine Act and 30CFR. The air sampling equipment used are Gilian GIL AIR3 intrinsically safe samplers calibrated to 1.7 lpm using a Gilabrator. The samples are collected on 5um PVC filter cassettes. The samples are evaluated for total airborne dust particulates by RJ Lee Group analysis.
NOISE MONITORING / SAMPLING
Industrial Hygiene Sampling - Noise Sampling
SAS can conduct noise sampling as required under the provisions of 30CFR Part 62. These samplings will help head off MSHA citations that are often issued when MSHA inspectors conduct periodic noise sampling during the required inspections. The sampling is done with NIOSH & MSHA approved TSI Quest Edge-5 intrinsically safe dosimeters that are tested and certified annually.
