After retiring as the San Antonio Field Office Supervisor of the Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA) in 1997, Robert “Bob” White founded Safety Assessment Services (SAS) as a veteran owned company. The SAS family takes great pride in the services they provide to all individuals and organizations of the mining community including both miners and contractors. Our list of satisfied clients has continued to grow as our reputation for excellence spreads throughout the United States.
Our goal has and continues to be to help our clients in establishing and maintaining safer and more productive workplaces. By partnering with SAS our clients know they will be dealing with an organization that works hard and takes great pride in maintaining its reputation for excellence, honesty, and integrity.
All of our instructors have their MSHA certification cards as Approved 30 CFR Part 48 Trainers for New Miner & Annual Refresher Training and therefore can also be considered as “competent trainers” to conduct the same training under the provisions of 30CFR Part 46 & Part 48.
